Nomination Day

The Town of Meadows held a nomination day on August 29th. At the end of the nomination day 4 Council members were acclaimed. They were:

Councillor Judy Bolt

Councillor Ted Taylor

Councillor Earl March

Councillor Timothy Anderson (New Council member)


Mayoral Election

The Mayor is chosen is a separate election. There are two candidates running in the Mayoral election:

Kenneth Marche

Jamie Brake


The Municipal Election

The Municipal general election for Mayor only will be held on Tuesday, September 26th from 8am to 8 pm at the Meadows Community Centre (Town Hall).

Please come out and support your candidate on election day.


Vote by proxy

If you are unable to make it on election day, you can have a representative vote by proxy on your behalf. To do so you will need to complete a proxy application, which is available at the Town office. The completed application must be returned to the returning officer (Sandra Legge) no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 25th, the day before the election. The Proxy certificate must be presented on election day in order for the proxy to vote.
